Where we are in Islington

As recommended by Which magazine, Lonely Planet and the Rough Guide. Roundtheworldflights.com is part of Global Village, one of the UK' s leading long haul travel specialists. We work directly with our customers online, and via our retail shop in Islington, London. We treat our customer as individuals. Individuals who, when it comes to travelling have their own demands, their own desires and their own dreams. When you book with us, we listen to what you have to say and tailor-make your itinerary to suit your requirements.

Round the world flights was founded in 2000 to offer travellers an informative online service that unravelled the mysteries surrounding round the world tickets and travel. In fact we took that one step further and created a site that would allow our customers to design their own round the world route. The tickets we offer are notoriously complicated and therefore whilst you cannot actually book your ticket online, we believe we have given you the next best thing – real round the world routes, real prices and relevant research information to aid your round the world planning and decision making.

Global Village has over 11 years experience planning and booking unforgettable holidays to a host of destinations with particular expertise in Australia and New Zealand, but with expert knowledge in all the worldwide destinations. Our success comes from our staff – when you talk to a Consultant you are dealing with an expert. In-depth training and ongoing product education supplement our Consultants’ personal knowledge and experience. Our Staff have travelled extensively and we actively encourage their ongoing travel, ensuring that they collectively have first hand knowledge of our destinations.

The average experience of our team working in the travel industry is now over 10 years per consultant and most consultants have travelled to over 40 countries - some are in the 80s. Between us all we have visited over 90% of the recognised countries and states on this planet. Meet our strongest asset - it's our Senior Travel Consultants

IATA and ATOL bonded

The company has an Air Travels Organiser’s License (ATOL - 6283) granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). ATOL protects you from losing your money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out checks on the tour operators and travel organisers it licenses, and requiring a financial guarantee called a bond, which is lodged with us.If a tour operator goes out of business, the CAA will make a refund to you, or if you're abroad, we'll arrange for you to finish your holiday and fly home. For further information please visit the ATOL website at www.atol.org.uk. The company is also a member and is bonded by tthe International Air Travel Association (IATA - 91257073), which allows us to issue tickets on our premises in Islington. Travel insurance is strongly recommended at all times, and in some situations, is compulsory. The company will not accept responsibility for any persons who fail to take out adequate travel insurance.  We can't say this strongly enough - Make sure you get insurance!

IATA - The International Airport Association

The International Airport Association governs the administration of airline ticket issuance.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association

The Pacific Asia Travel Association is a not-for-profit travel trade association serving government tourist offices, airlines, hotels and other travel-related companies throughout the Pacific Asia region. PATA's mission is to enhance the growth, value and quality of Pacific Asia travel and tourism for the benefit of its membership. PATA has long been an advocate of balancing growth with responsible conservation measures.

ATOL - Air Travel Organisers Licensing

ATOL exists to protect the public from losing money or being stranded abroad because of the failure of air travel firms. It was first introduced in 1972 and it gives comprehensive consumer protection to 28 million people in the UK who buy flights or air holidays each year.

CAA - The Civil Aviation Authority

The CAA is a government body that issues Air Travel Organisers Licenses (ATOL). While the CAA focuses primarily on airline travel, all travel arrangements sold in conjunction with a flight, will also be protected.
